Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein have a new website on which they are airing webisodes featuring interviews with celebrity homebirthers. There are currently 3 webisodes available, all parts of an interview with Cindy Crawford with a 4th to follow.
The website itself is really good, with a member based community and a resource section.
These two women have also got a brand new book, “Your Best Birth” which I will be checking out very soon.
It is plain to see how much Ricki’s homebirth has changed her life, with her film and now the new site and book. I can only wonder if anyone had told her how much her life would be altered by this event, and the birth before that led her to this place how a younger Ricki would have received it.
I am proud to see such a strong woman standing up for birthing women, and the beautiful process that is birth itself.
